# 3.2.7: Find Device Information

Here I click on the router to open the CLI for IOS (Internetwork Operating System)

So I hit "enter" and then type "enable" to get started:<br>

Then I enter the command "show version" to get important system info, such as the IOS version, how much NVRAM (non-volatile RAM) is available on the router, DRAM, and how many serial interfaces the router has(points that can be used to connect to other devices).
